Camp is better with your friends
Summer Camp is open to every high schooler, whether they’ve been to church or not. Invite a friend, register together and share four days they won’t forget.
Friends don’t need to be part of C3 SYD Youth to attend.
Want to sponsor a student?
Every year, there are teenagers who would love to come to camp but can’t because of the cost. Your generosity can give a young person four days that could shape their faith, their friendships and their future.
Frequently Asked Questions:
-
Buses will depart from both our Northern Beaches and Central West locations.
Students from Lower North Shore and Upper North Shore will travel on either the Northern Beaches or Central West bus, depending on which departure point is most convenient for their family.
Further information, including exact departure and return times, pick-up and drop-off locations, and transport arrangements, will be communicated to families before camp.
-
Teenagers will stay in cabins at StayKCC. If your teenager has a particular accommodation need, please contact the youth team before camp so we can discuss the available arrangements.
-
A detailed packing list will be provided before camp. In the meantime, we recommend preparing the following:
Clothing for four days, including comfortable clothes for activities
Tribe clothes/dress up! (Tribe colours will be communicated close to camp).
Sleepwear and toiletries
Towel and any required bedding or linen, as confirmed by the camp team
Comfortable walking shoes and runners
Hat, sunscreen, and a reusable water bottle
Bible, notebook, and pen
Any necessary personal medication
Spending money for canteen snacks
Please label personal belongings where possible. We will also provide any specific instructions about clothing, activities and items that should not be brought to camp.
-
All meals are provided by the onsite caterers at StayKCC. Please ensure that any food allergies, dietary requirements, or relevant medical information are included in your teenager’s registration.
-
C3 SYD Youth leaders, Camp Parents, and Camp Helpers will oversee the camp program and support teenagers throughout the event. We are committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and appropriately supervised environment.
Our Location Pastors will also be onsite for the duration of camp!
-
Please provide accurate and complete information during registration, including relevant medical conditions, allergies, medications and emergency contact details. Medical forms with greater detail will be required to be completed prior to camp.
If your teenager has a specific support need, please contact the youth team at youth@c3syd.church so we can discuss the best way to prepare and support them during camp.
-
We have qualified and dedicated first-aiders on site at all times throughout camp. Parents and guardians will receive relevant contact information and instructions before departure.
Please ensure emergency contact details and medical information are current and that any required medication is clearly labelled and managed according to the arrangements communicated by the camp team.
-
Teenagers can bring their phones to camp and will have the option of keeping it in a ‘phone box’ during camp. Our desire is for students to be present, engage with the program and make the most of the opportunity to build friendships.
Parents will receive information about how to contact the camp team if they need to get in touch with their teenager during camp and are not able to contact them via their phone.
-
That is completely understandable, particularly for students attending for the first time or travelling without their usual family support.
Our team want every student to feel welcomed, included, and supported. We encourage you to speak with your local Youth Overseer or teenager’s Connect Group Leader before camp if you have any concerns or would like us to be aware of anything that could help your teenager settle in.
-
Please contact the youth team before registering to discuss whether a partial attendance arrangement is possible. Any arrangements will need to be confirmed with the camp team in advance.
-
Parents and guardians will need to complete the required registration, consent, and medical information for their teenager.
Please ensure all details are accurate and that any outstanding payments, consent forms, or additional information are submitted by the communicated deadlines.
-
Please contact your teenager’s Connect Leader, your local C3 SYD Youth Overseer or the central youth team via youth@c3syd.church.
We are happy to answer questions to help your family prepare for camp.
